Document Scanner
Visitors Control support the 3M™ QS1000 Full-Page Reader. It is An entry-level compact document reader designed for fast data capture in commercial applications.
This device can read any passport, capture an image of any document, and scan a 2D barcode found on IDs.
Image capture
Capture the picture directly out of the software with any standard web camera. With the aid of automatic face recognition the permanent adjustments are unnecessary.
Printing
Cards
Visitors Control supports every common card printer whether it is an ID Direct-to-Card, Retransfer or TRW-Cardprinter – according to your demands on the visitor badge in use, quality and size.
Labels
In addition to the use of professional visitor cards the alternative is to use labels. The economic aspect and the speed favor the technology, which also works with and of Visitors Control.
Automatic Login/Logout
Barcode
The login and logout can be done with the barcode technology. The optical code located on the ID medium, is read easily and quickly via the barcode reader. The evaluation of the data happend in the software.
RFID-Reader
For safety and/or comfort reasons the RFID technology is increasingly used for data acquisition. The system is independent of the RFID Technology, as long as the correct device is connected.
Self-Service
With the self check-in the visitor are able to register themselves whether through a kiosk terminal or a tablet at the reception. Activities like registration, signing of the agreements and the output of the visitor badges can be automated.
